Located just 36 miles from central London, the airport has expanded significantly since 2012 and is currently served by Ryanair and Wizz Air (who have a growing presence at the site). easyJet previously had a base here but due to the COVID-19 related downturn in travel, they suspended it recently. However, the airport is still a busy and popular gateway to London and sees a diverse range of traffic.
